new pics!

Summer Time

I always forget to update this with facebook and all. I was off work as of June 4 until sometime in August. The kids pretty much have my undivided attention. We have played outside a ton, done yardwork, went to friends' houses, and more. Here are some recent pics. Updates about kids:
Cole: is loving watching toy story 1 and 2. We are making his first trip to the movie theater when Toy Story 3 comes out. He is getting more brave, even went on some rides at a local carnival. He is still working on potty training at night, but at least hes trying to get out of his bed! He loves swimming in his outdoor pool and riding his "monster truck". He can count to 30! Cant believe Natalie will be 2 this week! She talks more and more everyday. Finally sleeping in her toddler bed instead of the floor! she loves being around Cole, no matter how many times he hits her. She loves playing with her barettes and pretties.

Vacation for us, vacation away from us for kids!!

Brad and I enjoyed the Florida sun with some friends for almost a whole week without the kids. They have the greatest grandparents and aunt for watching them during that time. When I we went to pick them up, I told Cole it was time to go home and he said, "why?" I still think they missed us!
Natalie has been so talkative lately, saying new things everyday. She calls Cole, Coley now. When she gets up in the morning and he is still sleeping, she says, "Coley, night night?"
They both love to play outside. Brad is working on building their new swingset, they cant wait to use it. I am sure we will get a lot of use out of that this summer.
A few weeks ago we had some friends and their kiddos over, they had so much fun playing together. Natalie just loves having a baby around.
For Easter, we got the kids caterpillars and tent and we got to watch them turn into a cocoon and then a butterfly. We just let them go this past weekend, what a fun time for the kids.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to our first Easter egg hunt at a local community church. They "hid" 4000 eggs!! Each child got to look for 26 eggs, plus they had all sorts of other fun stuff and giveaways and free lunch! We will definately do that again next year.

Kids are getting cuter everyday! Here are some latest pics. Cole and Natalie even posed together for a pic on Valentine's Day. Oh and the ponytail, I just love it!!

Happy January!

We had our last Christmas with the Ewings and Hummels the second week of January. All of the cousins had such a fun time together and were all so good. Everyone ventured out sledding, what a great idea by poompa!



Cole and Natalie are learning to play together more everyday and sometimes even give each other hugs!

Happy New Year (almost!)

Well, another year is almost past. The kids had a great (exhausting) time at Christmas. Not sure if Cole likes Natalies presents more or Natalie likes his presents more, but I guess it all works out in the end. So far, the favorites are the dinosaur that roars, the shopping cart and the (free) chairs that Aunt Laura gave us!
Since I have been off the last week, it has been great spending more time with Natalie. She has been so happy and fun to play with. She says new words everyday.

Cole is starting to be nicer to his sister, maybe he is realizing the permanency of her! It only took 18 months!
